JEDDAH, 14 June 2003 — The two-day 4th Annual MIT Pan-Arab Conference that opens in Dubai today will focus on human and economic development through technology, policy, business, health and education.
Organized annually by the MIT/Arab Alumni/ae Association (MITAAA), the conference is held in cooperation with the Dubai Development and Investment Authority (DDIA) and the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Abdul Latif Jameel Group (ALJ), a long-time supporter of the MITAAA, is again the main sponsor of the event. ALJ is the latest private sector organization to throw its weight behind the prominent event.
