JEDDAH, 14 June 2003 — Boeing, one of the world’s leading aerospace companies, and Aerostudies Inc., a Canadian company that specializes in online aviation training, launched the first university-based aviation safety e-learning curriculum at King Abdul Aziz University (KAAU) on Monday. “The program represents another milestone that Boeing has reached, as part of the company’s commitment to providing educational and training opportunities for people across the Kingdom and the Middle East, said Marcus Hurley, Boeing’s president for the Middle East. “The implementation of the program will allow the AED to provide state-of-the-art aviation safety training,” he said. “This is a testament to our superior in-flight service and company policy of ‘destination excellence.”
