RIYADH, 17 June 2003 — The deputy minister of water and electricity has told Eqtisadiah that the average Saudi consumes 250 liters of water a day. In France average daily consumption is 150 liters per person. The reason is that Saudis have not been educated about the importance of preserving water and using it wisely.
