JEDDAH, 18 June 2003 — Filipino parents in Jeddah who wish to send their children to a Philippine school other than the two existing ones now have an alternative.
The Bader International School said yesterday it had been granted License No. 145/S by the Ministry of Education MOE to teach the Philippine educational curriculum and it is now open to serve the Filipino community.
The school is located in Jeddah’s Al-Rowdah District near the Saudi Bin Laden building. School administrator Helen Abanilla said the school’s papers were completed on Saturday and classes have began.
She said the new school is offering classes from pre-elementary to high school.
Other nationalities with clearance from the Ministry of Education (except Saudis) are invited to join, she added.
