JEDDAH, 24 June 2003 — A Saudi-Egyptian business group has been formed to provide consultation on legal matters related to a variety of subjects on its dedicated website. The group has registered a large panel of lawyers and legal experts each in Egypt and the Kingdom to offer information, consultation and even solutions to personal and business problems, according to Abed Saeed Baghazal and Dr. Ayman Attala, the Saudi and Egyptian partners of the group. “We’ve 700 Egyptian and 60 Saudi lawyers registered with us to offer guidance on our website,” Baghazal told a press conference at the launch of the group’s operation in the Kingdom at Crowne Plaza Hotel on Sunday. “All rules and regulations of the Arab world are readily available and will be updated from time to time,” Attala said. “The group’s bilingual Arabic-English website — www.avokato.com — established in Cairo over a year ago had recorded over 4.5 million hits so far,” he said. “Some 70 to 80 percent of the website’s services are free to all users in Egypt and overseas.
