JEDDAH, 24 June 2003 — Health Minister Hamad Al-Manie has fired several doctors and heads of department following an incognito inspection tour of emergency rooms all over the country, Al-Madinah reported. Disguised as a patient, the minister found himself ignored in emergency rooms, treated rudely and refused free medication at several hospital pharmacies.
