JEDDAH, 27 June 2003 — The Dart Vader6 Darters inspired by their Team Manager Gerry Quinto clinched the match against 2002 Team Champion — Orient Pearl Seafood Restaurant (OPSR) Dart Team.
On the 4-man team, Kelly Panalandang, Onoy Villamin, Chris Amores and Gerry Quinto of Dart Vader6 exchanged the bombardment of tons and deltas with the team of Caloy Jalbuna, Santi Divinagracia, Arnold Biblanias and Mario Arguilles of OPSR. It was Kelly Panalandang who finished the game in style as he landed the last dart to double 4.
In the Singles event, Chris Amores (Dart Vader6) won over Mario Arguillles of OPSR, 2-1, the second match was clinched by Santi Divinagracia of OPSR against Onoy Villamin 2-1, Kelly Panalandang (Dart Vader6) blanked Arnold Baitan of OPSR 2-0, Larry Papasin of (Dart Vader6) was zeroed by Open Singles Champion 2002, Caloy “D Comback King” Jalbuna of OPSR, 0-2, Toto Genon of Dart Vader6 took 2 points from Allan Quebral of OPSR 2-1 and “El Presidente” — Gerry Quinto of Dart Vader6 won over against Arnold “D Bowlerong Darter” Biblanias of OPSR 2-0. Score 12 points for Dart Vader6 and 6 points for the OPSR.
In Doubles event, Caloy Jalbuna/Allan Quebral (OPSR) won over the pair of Cris Amores/Onoy (Dart Vader6) in the first match, while Santi Divinagracia (OPSR) repeated the scenario of match 1 against Kelly Panalandang/GerryQuinto of Dart Vader6 and Eddie Boy Paduganan/Toto Genon of Dart Vader6 secured their match against Arnold Biblanias/Jun Lopez (OPSR) leading to victory. The final score was 14 points to Dart Vader6 and 10 points for the Orient Pearl Seafood Restaurant.
