RIYADH, 10 July 2003 — Water and Electricity Minister Dr. Ghazi Al-Gosaibi has directed his ministry to complete a study on combining the water and electricity bill, Okaz reported.
The aim is to reduce the administrative burden on the ministry.
Al-Gosaibi said there was an urgent need to combine the two bills to reduce overheads and make sure the bills are paid. Many users fail to pay their water bills as the amount is generally small.
