DAMMAM, 17 July 2003 — Culture and Information Minister Dr. Fouad Al-Farsy signed a SR80 million contract to set up a new radio transmission station in Dammam. According to a report in Al-Riyadh, the project, which is scheduled for completion in 30 months, will have three types of broadcasts each on medium wave and FM to cover Dammam city and the neighboring areas.
