RIYADH, 25 July 2003 — Alvez, Bravo and Luna scored a total of 57 points to help Faisal Cargo win in overtime (96-93) in the second game of the Filipino Basketball League best-of- three championship series held at Khalda Housing Compound in Malaz.
Metro Star Cargo team, who won the first game, made some back-to-back errors in the crucial minutes of the game allowing Faisal Cargo to even the score 82-all at the end of the fourth quarter.
The deadlock pushed the game into overtime, which worked in Faisal Cargo’s favor as Metro’s main players Aguinaldo, Gantan, Sason and Hadlocon fouled out.
