JEDDAH, 25 July 2003 — Prince Alwaleed ibn Talal, chairman of the Kingdom Holding Company, has renewed his commitment to construct 1,000 residential units annually over the coming ten years as part of a major philanthropic housing project in Asir region.
Prince Alwaleed attended the launch of the second phase of the project together with Asir Governor Prince Khaled Al-Faisal.
Prince Alwaleed, who announced the project six months ago, said he was visiting Asir to sign contracts for the construction of 200 units in two rural areas.
