RIYADH, 2 August 2003 — Prince Faisal ibn Salman ibn Abdul Aziz, Chairman of the Saudi Research and Marketing Group, has appointed Dr. Azzam ibn Muhammad Al-Dakhil director general of the Saudi Distribution Company.
He replaces Dr. Majed Tahir Othman, who resigned for personal reasons. Prince Faisal thanked Dr. Othman for his work with the company, which he had served as director general since 1986.
During this period he contributed to the development and expansion of the company to become one of the leading distribution firms in the Arab world.
Dr. Al-Dakhil has served in various leading positions in both the government and private sectors. His last position was vice chairman of Skap/Sadaqa Group for Operation and Maintenance.
