RIYADH, 18 August 2003 — An official source at the Ministry of Finance said that a small fire at the ministry on Sunday morning caused no damage. The source said, “Thank God, because of the efforts by officers and soldiers of the Civil Defense and the ministry’s own security and safety unit, the fire was brought under control within a short time and no damage occurred.”
