RIYADH, 22 August 2003 — Aries Palmero and Noel Ramos praised Trane’s Coach Yulo Torion in a victorious match with the Luzviminda squad of Roger Bajenting and Zandro Herrera with a second straight win in the semifinal round of the Filipino Community Basketball League (FCBL) at the Eid Contracting Compound, Exit 12 Riyadh.
Trane got the better of the Luzviminda team with Jeff Salac, Aries Palmero and Noel Ramos combining their efforts to score a total of 46 points. Luzviminda squad headed by top scorers Rey Manigbas, Elmer Cano, and Aries Delos Reyes did their best to counter their opponent’s movements. It was a close fight during the first half of the ballgame but Trane prevailed and concluded the match with a 13-point victory 80-67.
