JEDDAH, 22 August 2003 — In the semifinal round of the First ICBA Basketball Tournament at the Industrial Area here Basamh Goody/Al Aoun players will be fighting against Umea-Led Wood Horizon in the Rated A Division Game 4 showdown with Umea-Led Wood Horizon leading 2-1. Expect a big crowd to watch their favorite players.
In the Inter Commercial Division, Al Hezaz Cargo Services (Team Mgr. Felix Jordan) swept the elimination round and will be fighting with Al Ghomri for Sports with Coach Omeng Sahagun at the helm for the final round of best of three games.
In the Inter Company Division A, it is a do-or-die battle between Jeddah Foam Laminates Foam versus King Abdul Aziz Hospital for the last semifinal slot. The completion of the magic four are Jeddah Cable Company, Red Sea Palace Hotel and Tropang Panis.
In the Inter Company Division B, Masat Al Sharq is riding high in first place waiting for their opponent in the semi final round, with BRC Industries, Saudi Pipe System, Pepsi Company, Al Ghomri for Sports and Saudi Preco trailing.
The last game in this division for the elimination round is between Bughsan Industries Co (Pepsi) versus Al Ghomri for Sports (Weak Team).
Winner of this semifinal knockout game will decide the composition of the magic four.
