DUBAI, 23 August 2003 — Clive Smith has joined the the InterContinental Jeddah as resident manager. Smith previously held the same position at the Holiday Inn Mayfair in London, and has worked in the hotel industry for 14 years. Erik Weinmann, the new director of sales and marketing at the InterContinental Jeddah, was previously director of sales at the InterContinental Phoenecia Beirut. The 350-room InterContinental Jeddah, located in the prestigious A1 Hamra district, is one of 11 InterContinental hotels in Saudi Arabia.
