JEDDAH, 5 September 2003 — Al Hejaz Cargos Services, (Inter Commercial Division), Jeddah Cable Powerlines & Masat Al Sharq, (Inter Company A & B Division) all won Game No. 1 in the final round of the ICBA Basketball Tournament at the COCG Basketball Complex in the Industrial Area, Jeddah.
Randy Comandante got his birthday wish last week as Masat Al Sharq scored a 56-52 win over BRC Industries who folded in the last three minutes of the game. Randy burned the hoops with a game high of 25 points, three rebounds and five assist with Alex Egos contributing 13 points and 10 rebounds.
In the battle for third place in the Inter Company B, Al Ghomri for Sports won 64-44 over Saudi Pipe System.
Gamol Ibrahim Rongavilla and Cordoviz provided a pair of sterling performance as Jeddah Cable Powerlines beat Red Sea Palace Hotel 81-74.
Cordoviz finished the game with 29 points and Gamol with 23 points.
In the battle of Inter Commercial Division, Thursday Al Hejaz smashed Al Ghomri For Sports 86-76.
Four players from Al Hejaz scored double figures: Rapada 26 points, June Tejada 18 points, Larry Sunga 14 points and Pat Cecilio 10 points respectively.
Al Ghomri For Sports player Hernandez finished the game with 35 points 12 rebounds and 6 assists.
