JEDDAH, 15 September 2003 — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd and Crown Prince Abdullah, deputy premier and commander of the National Guard, yesterday held talks with Indonesian Vice President Hamzah Haz on major global issues. They also discussed ways of strengthening bilateral ties.

“The talks focused on the developments in the Islamic and Arab world, especially in Palestine and Iraq, and the prospects of strengthening cooperation between the two countries,” the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Haz also met with Prince Sultan, second deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, who hosted a luncheon in honor of the vice president.
