RIYADH, 18 September 2003 — Dr. Abdulaziz Jazzar, managing director of Saudi Research and Publishing Company, has reaffirmed the company’s commitment to bringing out informative and quality publications for the age of globalization and worldwide electronic communication.
Inaugurating a prize distribution ceremony for the company’s 15th discounted subscription campaign for 2002, Jazzar said the continuing subscription campaign was aimed at strengthening ties with readers of SRPC’s various publications including Arab News.
Osama Abdullah Banjar of Madinah won the top prize of SR1 million.
His name was picked during the ceremony by Prince Khaled ibn Saad, chairman of Al-Shabab Club.
The winners of other prizes — a SR100,000 prize, a SR50,000 prize, 10 SR20,000 prizes and 15 SR10,000 prizes — were picked by Dr. Azzam Al-Dakheel, director general of Saudi Distribution Company, Abdullah Al-Qahtani, assistant managing director of SRPC, Abdul Wahab Al-Fayez, editor in chief of Al-Eqtisadiah business daily, and others.
