JEDDAH, 23 September 2003 — The Saudi Telecom Company (STC) yesterday announced plans to add one million lines to its pre-paid mobile phone network (SAWA) this Thursday. Khaled ibn Abdullah Al-Mulhem, president of the company, said clients would be able to subscribe to the new lines on the 081 exchange by paying SR200. SAWA SIM cards can be purchased at all STC Customer Service Centers and dealers.

The card is initially valid for 60 days. Recharge vouchers are available in amounts of SR100 (valid for 30 days) and SR200 (valid for 60 days).
