JEDDAH, 27 September 2003 — On behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd, Makkah Governor Prince Abdul Majeed will lead the ceremonial washing of the Holy Kaaba today. A number of ministers as well as diplomats from Arab and Islamic countries will take part in the ceremony, which is customary before the advent of Ramadan.
