JEDDAH, 7 October 2003 — Masood Akhtar, the new consul general of Pakistan, will meet the Pakistani community at 6.30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at the consulate premises. All Pakistanis are invited to attend.
Meanwhile, instances have come to the notice of Pakistani authorities of problems faced by Pakistan nationals regarding remittances of funds through banking channels to Pakistan. The Pakistan Embassy recommends to all Pakistani nationals that they purchase draft of their remittances only from banks and licensed exchange houses.
Consular Visit
A consular team of Pakistan’s Consulate General, will visit Abha on Oct. 9-10 to extend consular services to the members of Pakistani community residing in the area. The team will be available at Musheet Hotel (Tel. 2236220).
