The Saudi Electricity Company adds a feather to its cap with the addition of Yahya Ibrahim Abdulrahman to its team. Abdulrahman joined Saudi Electricity Company in Riyadh on September 1, 2003 as IT Operation and Services Department Manager for the Central Operation Area.
Abdulrahman graduated with a BS in Computer Science from Dhahran’s King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in June 1983. He was recruited by SABIC in August 1983 as a Programmer/Analyst. Over 20 years he rose through the ranks at SABIC-HQ Riyadh, eventually holding management responsibilities in IT functions such as operations, network, user support and security.
Signing on with the Saudi Electricity team during a time of transformation for the organization, Abdulrahman told Arab News that he “is looking forward to succeed with the new challenges” brought by his new position.
