JEDDAH, 11 October 2003 — Seven-year-old Ahmed Nahhas’s right thighbone did not develop at birth, and doctors believe that the tip of the thighbone is located inside Ahmed’s hip. The thighbone can be extended up to 10cm at puberty, but this requires a difficult operation that will connect Ahmed’s thighbone with his pelvis.
