DAMMAM, 12 October 2003 — The Filipino Pop Music Club (Filpop) will hold a series of musical performances and singing competitions this year to promote pop music awareness within the Filipino community.
The club will showcase the talented children who at their young age were trained to perform like any popular Filipino artists.
The Filpop kids were trained by Dr. Ronnie Molina, founder and executive director of the club.
The kids and the Filpop Talents were presented to the club’s members last month in Dammam.
Filpop Club aims to raise funds to help distressed workers in the Eastern Region and for Bantay Bata, the Manila-based foundation helping disabled children.
The club is already one of the 34 Accredited Community Partners of the POLO-OWWA in Alkhobar.
The executive committee of the Filpop Club is headed by Ronnie Molina.
The other officers are Tony Castro, Alfredo Abrenica, Charlie Pagdanganan, Ronald Sitchon, Eric Ricasio, Danilo Villafuerte, Rosalinda Ellanil, Grace Sitchon, Annie Mendiola, Cindy Mandrique, Alfredo Indefenso, Josue Ferriol, John Mendiola, Carlo Gonzales, Ric Grafil and Jun Veloso.
