JEDDAH, 14 October 2003 — The Passports Department has fined 21 Haj and Umrah companies a total of SR50 million for various violations. Col. Fahd ibn Ayed told Al-Madinah newspaper that one of the companies had been fined SR12 million, while the others were fined between SR1 million and SR12 million.
