JEDDAH, 17 October 2003 — In the inter-commercial division, Arab News coach Boy Lucas enjoyed their 60 points lead, took a sitgh of relief when his boyz Defender 103-43 in the 1st JSMG basketball tournament in cooperation with Almajal Service Master sponsored by Tharwat Al-Gharbia Al-Haditha.
Six players of Arab News scored in double digits led by Talastas with 20 points earning him the Powerhorse’s best player of the game followed by son & Arquero 14 points each, Dael & Cabahug12 points and Jag Malit added 10 points.
In the 40 above division, WRJ Cargo of coach and team manager Jag Malit climbed the top of the standings and enjoying 4-0 nil by beating the Lanao Lakers by 3 points, 63-66.
