JEDDAH, 17 October 2003 — Hashim Guinomla and Danny de Guzman powered SkyFreight Forwarders team to capture the coveted team of the week awards by collecting 53 points at the Monday Night Bowling League being held at the Jeddah Lanes Bowling Center.
Guinomla fired a series scratch of 625 in three games while De Guzman toppled 621. Rene Santiago, Hero Garcia and Edu Toledo, scored a separate series of 566, 554 and 541. SkyFreight Forwarders tallied an overall team series handicap of 2907 points. Also at the limelight were the keglers of FAL and Cee Bee Aviation Co. The FAL team keglers poured 47 points through Jess Pineda with a 642 series scratch in three games. Edwin Ronquillo, Joey Salvador, James Galvan and Nap Patayan posted a separate series of 556, 554, 542 and 535. Fal collected overall team series handicap of 2829.
For Cee Bee Aviation Co., Benjie Domado helped to snatch 44 points. Domado scored a series of 609 to topscore and Lindo Villanueva with 579.
An identical series of 554 was submitted by Boy Casio and Emil Payongayong while Eddie Alisbo contributed 511 series. Cee Bee Aviation team keglers produced an overall team series handicap of 2,807 pinfalls.
The current league leaders, Mobi Fabric Softener scored 43 points. Jun Pilipina and Rally Zamora knocked down a separate series of 598 and 590. Val Magsino had 569 points while Igna Salgado and Abet Sarte sealed a series of 510 and 481. Mobi Fabric Softener registered total team series handicap of 2748 points.
