The National Guard Health Affairs (NGHA) has signed with Digicom Systems to supply and implement the enterprise asset management (EAM) solution, Datastream 7i for King Abdulaziz Medical City (KAMC), Riyadh and Jeddah, King Abdualziz Hospital in Al-Hasa, and Al-Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal Hospital in Dammam.
The decision was primarily geared towards helping manage and maintain NGHA facilities’ critical assets Kingdom-wide in all its hospital operations. Chief Engineer at NGHA, Tariq O. Al-Abduljabar said, “National Guard Health Affairs (NGHA), and King Abdulaziz Medical City (KAMC) were one of the earliest adopters of the enterprise asset management technology of Datastream Systems, and the first in the Saudi Arabian health care industry to use in its operations.
The upgrade to Datastream 7i will provide more advanced features to utilize such as flexible reporting and graphing capabilities for analyzing key metrics, forecasting performance issues, and taking preventive measures for optimum performance. Plus, users will be able to use the system through a single central database sharable, secured and updated.
This will ensure increased maintenance operations efficiency through equipment uptime, reduce maintenance repair and operations costs and ultimately streamline business procurement processes. All these reflect the vision of NGHA to provide the best levels of infrastructure for its patients.”
