JEDDAH, 21 October 2003 — The Interior Ministry announced yesterday that large quantities of explosives as well as several machine guns and hand grenades were confiscated after raids on hideouts of suspected militants in Suwaidi (Riyadh region), Majmaa, Bareed Al-Haya (Makkah region), Labkha (Shaqra), Bakeriya (Qasim) and Toufik district in Jeddah over the past weeks. The ministry vowed to continue its campaign against terrorists and their supporters.
