JEDDAH, 22 October 2003 — The board of executive directors of the Islamic Development Bank has approved new finances worth $284 million in favor of a number of member countries, an IDB press statement said yesterday. Albania will get $7 million from the bank for a hospital project while Afghanistan will receive $4.5 million for school projects.
