ALKHOBAR, 26 December 2003 — The Caravan Cargo Skyscrapers posted its second win against Bader Al Husseini and Sons team, 77-70 in the ongoing PTAC-IPSA Basketball Tournament held at the International Philippine School in Alkhobar (IPSA) basketball court.
The Al Husseini team were favored to win the game through the leadership of Khaled Marmay, but the Caravan Cargo minimized his output to 24 points.
Husseini gained the lead in the middle of the fourth quarter.
Skyscrapers dominated the board (a key factor for proper ball distribution). Abel excelled in his leadership as court general and boosted the team with his fine showing. Skyscrapers' guard Bobstel Caldino's shooting made the difference and was the factor that gave the Skyscrapers the lead.
Reggie Maniego and Jesse Abacan led the team with 20 and 19 points apiece. Ian Otik Genson also contributed 4 points.
