RIYADH, 27 December 2003 — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd and Crown Prince Abdullah, deputy premier and commander of the National Guard, yesterday sent cables of condolences to President Mohammad Khatami of Iran on the deaths and destruction caused by a massive tremor in the country’s southeast.
