JEDDAH, 28 December 2003 — Pakistan International Airline’s first Haj flight carrying 267 pilgrims arrived at the Haj Terminal of King Abdul Aziz International Airport here late Friday night.

Ambassador Adm. (Retd.) Abdul Aziz Mirza, acting Consul General Syed Hasan Raza, Director General (Haj) Shahid Khan, PIA Country Manager Saleem Nisar and other senior officials of the consulate gave a welcome to the arriving pilgrims. Representatives of the Saudi Mossasah Mutawaffeen Al-Hujjaj were also present..

The oldest among pilgrims is Habib Bibi, 95, from Attock. Others include Arshad Malik and Kalsoom Akhtar from Islamabad, from where the flight PK-1101 originated.

A contingent of Khudam-ul-Hujjaj and officials of the Haj Directorate was present at the terminal to assist pilgrims in completing airport formalities and transport them to Makkah.
