RIYADH, 30 December 2003 — A Lexus car exploded in the capital’s eastern Al-Salam district causing no casualties or material damages, Maj. Gen. Saad Al-Tuwaijeri, director general of the civil defense department, said. “Only the above-mentioned car was damaged in the explosion,” he said, adding that police were investigating the incident.
