KUWAIT, 3 January 2003 — Finnish-born Marko Kristian Lietsa has joined the catering team at Le Meridien Kuwait as executive chef, bringing with him extensive experience of both international cuisine and regional hospitality industry. Lietsa had worked at the Kuwait Regency Park and most recently on the opening team of the Kuwait Hilton Resort. He also spent years at the Sheraton Kuwait in the 1990s. “Building a portfolio of new menus and implementing a unique culinary style will be apriority,” said Lietsa who is well versed in both hotel operations and outside catering services. “Le Meridien hotels are noted for their innovation and style.
