JEDDAH, 6 January 2004 — The Tau Gamma Phil Alumni Association-Jeddah Chapter has elected a new set of officers.
Elected were Michael Balawag, president; Bebs Pango, internal vice president; Cocoy Dimal, external vice president; Nash Ibrahim, secretary; Alinasser Radiomoda, treasurer; Alden Abdul, auditor; Omar Bin Omar, Lai Taher, Jamil Macalanggan, and Rhujeil Tiempo, advisers.
Pango, the internal vice president, said the group is holding a general meeting on Jan. 8 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Nayong Pilipino Restaurant, formerly Al Mokthar Store in Al Hamrah district, to discuss are the group’s livelihood projects, induction dates and formalities, among other topics.
Founded in 1968, the Tau Gamma Phi Alumni was organized “to propagate brotherhood and camaraderie among our brother Muslims working abroad and to extend assistance to the Filipino community who are in need of help,” according to Pango.
