JEDDAH, 14 January 2004 — In order to reduce waiting times and traffic congestion, the organizers of the Jeddah Economic Forum — which begins on Saturday — have arranged for early registration during the two days preceding the event.

“Attendees will be able to register, pay their fees and receive their badges on Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Jeddah Hilton Hotel,” said Amr Dabbagh, chairman of the forum. “Those who are unable to get to the Jeddah Hilton on either of the two pre-registration days can pick up their badges and JEF information kits at Hilton Hall — the forum’s venue — on Saturday morning between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. before the forum starts,” said Dabbagh.

To facilitate the registration process, the organizers will have 30 trained female students from Dar Al-Hekma Women’s College and Effat College and 45 male students from King Abdul Aziz University men’s campus and the College of Business Administration. The students will host an information desk to guide the attendees and provide general services to the delegates during the forum.
