RIYADH, 22 January 2004 — A Mushaira (poetry session) will be held at the Riyadh Palace Hotel here today.
The poetry session has been organized by a group of Pakistani expatriates in honor of Ahmad Faraz, a renowned Urdu poet and recipient of the presidential award. Faraz, who will be the guest of honor, will also render his poetry at the Mushaira.
Pakistan’s Ambassador Abdul Aziz Mirza will preside over the function, which will also be attended by Bangladesh Ambassador Sharjil Hassan.
