JEDDAH, 29 January 2004 — The Export Promotion Bureau and the Embassy of Pakistan in Bahrain will jointly organize the first-ever Pakistan single country exhibition in Bahrain from Feb. 17 to 20.

The exhibition at the Bahrain International Exhibition Center is aimed at projecting Pakistan as a producer and manufacturer of high quality products. Some 62 Pakistani companies will have displays.

A Pakistani trade delegation led by the minister for industries and production will visit Bahrain on Feb. 17 for the exhibition.

It will include businessmen dealing in textiles and textile products, hand knotted carpets, cutlery, onyx and marble products, jewelry, office stationery, perfumes, gift items, engineering goods including air conditioners, electrical equipment and agricultural machinery.

Public sector organizations such as the Board of Investment and Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) will also have stalls at the exhibition.

A Pakistan Food Festival and a cultural program will also be organized during the exhibition.

Businessmen are invited to the exhibition that will be open from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
