JEDDAH, 30 January 2004 — Roger Daquioag scored an impressive series scratch of 599 in three games to help the Malaysian Airlines bowling team to steal the spotlight in the 12th week of the Inter-Commercial Bowling League (ICBL) organized by the Filipino

Tenpin Bowlers of Jeddah (FTBJ) at the Jeddah Bowling Center.

The Malaysian Airlines team collected 25.5 points, with Daquioag topscoring with 599 series scratch. Providing splendid support to Daquioag were Sammy Ocampo (499), Obie Ycasas (451), Grace Dasas (405) and Vangie Lim (364) as the Malaysian Airlines team registered an overall total team series handicap of 2,654 points.

The Sunsilk Shampoo team keglers continued their winning streak to seal a towering 51 points. Danny Bautista lifted the Sunsilk Shampoo team with a three game series scratch of 600, with a game

high of 234. Toto Lim (589), Andy Erena (572) Puri Parena (532) and Fatima Jintarat (481) too sparkled as Sunsilk Shampoo team produced overall total team handicap output of 3,005 points.

Romy Vargas together with Beth Concepcion powered the NPS to post a towering 46 points. Vargas shot 550 while Concepcion scored 518. Bonnie Garcia (496), Charrie Cruz (477) and Emil Payongayong (476) helped the team to record an outputof 2,820 pinfalls.

A total of 41 points were generated by the Al-Zamil Heavy Industries and at the centerstage was Mao Orolfo who toppled 569. Jess Pineda (543) and Jess Escondo (522), Jay Perez (486) and Linda Escondo (465) helped them tally 2,834 points.

Meanwhile, the Sisa/Abha Bowling Group, through its President, Arnold Pagayon, will host this year’s 2004 Ramadan Goodwill Games and not the 2004 Haj Goodwill Games.
