JEDDAH, 19 February 2004 — The Jeddah Cricket League has worked overtime to gear up for the Arab News Under-19 cricket final at the JCL Complex today. The final will be contested by Nestle Milo and SGB Baroom, who made the grade in contrasting style.

JCL President Shahid Amin said all arrangements have been made by the JCL executive committee for an exciting Under-19 finals, the grounds have been rolled, the inner and outer circles for field placements and boundaries respectively marked and the invitations issued to the all JCL registered teams, principals of the schools and other dignitaries.

Arab News Editor in Chief Khaled A. Al-Maeena, a keen supporter of cricket and a patron of JCL and Central Cricket Control Board (CCCB) is expected to attend the final. A large number of cricket fans are also expected to watch this keenly-contested clash.

Amin, who personally supervised the arrangements, was all praise for the maturity and zest shown by the young boys to take on the challenges on the pitch to provide such high quality contest during the preliminary and the knockout stages of the event.
