JUBAIL, 20 February 2004 — Manso Group entered the final of the Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu hosted and Manso Group-sponsored Invitational Cricket Tournament with an emphatic victory over Jubail Hardware.
They now await the winners of the other semifinal between Saudi Ready Mix and Classic Cricket Club at the Royal Commission Ground here.
Manso Group; Saudi Aramco; Saudi Ready Mix; Jubail Hardware; Classic Cricket Club; Pak Fleet Cricket Club are the six teams that participated in the event.
Manso Group turned in a splendid performance and rattled up 284 for 4 wickets in their allotted overs.
They then restricted Jubail Hardware to 242 all out to record a 42-run victory.
T. S. Bajpai led all Manso scorers with 59 not out, and he was assisted by Kishore Raut 50 and Nadeem Iqbal 45.
After the match, P. R. Landge, general manager of SFCCL, presented the trophies.
