JEDDAH, 20 February 2004 — The Mobi Fabric Softener bowling team secured the No. 1 spot at the culmination of the second round of the Monday Night Bowling League at the Jeddah Lanes Bowling Center.

Mobi keglers garnered 40 points through the performances of Igna Salgado, Val Magsino and Rally Zamora.

Salgado and Magsino posted separate series scratch of 576 and 575 in three games while Zamora had a series of 565. Abet Sarte and Joe Flores supported Mobi by contributing a separate series scratch of 547 and 536. Mobi will advance to the finals through stepladder match in the top four.

FAL team keglers registered 31 points to grab the second spot in the top four finalists. Randy Mata led FAL with a three game series scratch of 624. Nap Patayan was next with a series of 540, followed by Jess Pineda with 537 series, team captain, Edwin Ronquillo (518) and Joey Salvador with 512 points.

Cee Bee Aviation Co. and SkyFreight Forwarders completed the list of top four finalists. Cee Bee Aviation had 27 points while the SkyFreight Forwarders produced 25 points. SkyFreight placed third because of their advantage in the total points against Cee Bee.

SkyFreight’s Danny de Guzman topscored by posting a series of 598 points. Hashim Guinomla, Hero Garcia and Edu Toledo had separate series of 538, 532 and 523 while Rene Santiago toppled 510 points.

Leading Cee Bee Aviation was Emily Payongayong with a 605 series scratch in three sets. Lindo Villanueva and Benjie Domado and Vhoi Ycong submitted separate three game series scratch of 537, 532, and 507. Boy Casio downed a series of 488.
