JEDDAH, 26 February 2004 — The Cebuano-Speaking Organization in Saudi Arabia (CSOSA) will host a mini-sports fest and musical show on Friday, from 1-8:30 p.m., at the Philippine Consulate in Jeddah.
Fred Castolome, one of CSOSA’s officials, said the grand reunion of sorts will highlight song and dance presentations by young talents coming from the various Philippine schools in Jeddah.
Castolome said contestants in the Mr. & Ms. CSOSA 2004 will be introduced during the musical show. A portion of the proceeds from this project will be donated to victims of the landslide in Leyte province late last year, he said.
Members of CSOSA will also elected their new board of directors during the occasion. In keeping with the Filipino fiesta tradition, CSOSA will provide free food and drinks, said Castolome.
