RIYADH, 27 February 2004 — Guided by top player Ely Martos, the First Quadrant Dart Team continued their winning streak last Friday at the expense of Jolina's Fashion of Fred Alibangbang. The winners maintained a 6-0 win-loss card that brought their team to No. 1 spot in the overall team standing.

The FQ team came strong in the singles match up and swept a towering 7-3 lead with Jun Danabar unleashing a Ton40 in the frontline. Noel Mendieta and Art Pal of the losers' side bounced back in the first doubles with a D5 victory that stunned Danabar and Lindo. Cunanan and Martos entered with a D10 clincher by Martos, 9-5, going into the third doubles.

With momentum on the winners' side, Ronnie Lacson duplicated a D10 out shot from the faces of de Chavez and Alibangbang, sealing the game at 11-5. The victors grabbed the last doubles including the team match up with a final score of 16-5.

Meanwhile, Zoilo Holganza's Ace Darters jumped into seventh place after two straight wins. The sponsor's Power Horse team also claimed their fourth win and now on second slot with 76 total points, trailing behind First Quadrant team 1.

SkyFreight, ABSAL Aircon, Alesayi and Phoenix Bakahan share the same card at 3-3 from third to sixth seat. D'Artist First Quadrant team 2, Ner's Lapaz Batchoy and Jolina's remain down the ladder.

Record holders of the week are Power Horse's Mario Guanzon who finished 501 in 19 darts with a Ton80.

Ronald Reyes of ABSAL Aircon also had his share of 100 least dart in two pins while Ronald Esguerra of the Ace team was the bulls eye king of the day.
