BHOPAL, 1 March 2004 — Making a scathing and personal attack on Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharati, former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh has alleged that her close relatives were making money in transfers and postings of officials. He took her to task for appointing four advisers. He did not spare the state government on several other burning issues.
Appearing to be in his element after a very long time, Digvijaysaid there were two RSSs working in the state — one was the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the other Rahul, Swami and Siddhartha. He said Bharati was finding herself trapped between the two RSSs.
Speaking to newsmen at a press conference he said the second RSS comprised Bharati’s brother Swami Lodhi and nephews Rahul and Siddhartha and it was dominating the first RSS, which, in turn, was being dominated by two Thakurs — BJP state organization General Secretary Kaptan Singh Solanki and Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) organization secretary Arvind Singh Bhadoria.
