JEDDAH, 1 March 2004 - The Islamic Development Bank yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding with the Palestinian National Economy Ministry to support Palestinian products and businesses at about 20 international exhibitions. The MoU was signed by Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Ai, the bank's president, and the Palestinian Minister of National Economy Maher Al-Masry on the sidelines of a conference in Amman. According to the agreement, the IDB will give $2.3 million to finance Palestinian exhibitions in three Arab countries and conduct market studies in 14 Arab and Islamic states.
