MAKKAH, 5 March 2004 - Police in Makkah are investigating a case of a Saudi who attacked a doctor without provocation at a maternity hospital in Makkah, Al-Madinah newspaper reported. Dr. Shokat Ali, pediatrician, said, "A Saudi man burst in and asked my nurse for a doctor to examine his son. The man had an appointment three weeks later. When the nurse told him that he didn't have an appointment for that time he pushed her aside and stormed into my office, where I was attending a patient. I told him to go to the emergency section if his son's case was serious. He then hit me in the face with something from my desk. I was transported to King Abdulaziz Hospital with a bleeding nose and facial injuries". Police took the description of the suspect and are continuing their search for him.
