JEDDAH, 8 March 2004 — Eighty-six organizations including publishing houses, computer companies and Islamic satellite channels will take part in the fifth Dawa Exhibition opening tomorrow at the Madinah Exhibition Center.

Madinah Governor Prince Muqrin will open the 10-day exhibition, which previously visited Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Qasim.

The exhibition aims at encouraging Muslims to disseminate the message of Islam among non-Muslims. “It will also provide guidelines to non-Arabic speaking expatriates on how to carry out dawa work in their communities,” said Saleh Al-Sheikh, minister of Islamic affairs, endowments and guidance.

The exhibition’s main theme is “Be an Islamic Preacher,” according to Ahmed Saud Al-Sabban, deputy Islamic affairs minister for planning development.
